Game Jams are fun. Last month there was an event called Ludum Dare. Mainly, you have to create a game in 48h (if you join the “Compo”) or 72h (joining the “Jam”).
The theme of the competition was “You Are The Villain”, and it was the perfect excuse to prototype a game I’ve always wanted to design. So, that’s how Boss Level was born.
Boss Level is the bastard child of a Tower Defense and a 2D Platformer. You play as the end of level final boss, and tired of being beaten by those damn Heroes you decide to create the perfect Boss Level.

Just drag the Summons at the top to somewhere in the level, and hit Start when you are ready. You can still do summons even if the wave of heroes are attacking.
The final game will be quite different. The visual style will be totally different (16-bit style), and there will be around 20 types of Summons, each with its own attributes and special abilities.
